Percy having been in the industry for over 30 years, is a commercial art graduate from Sir J J Institute of Applied Arts. He passed out in the year 1976. Since then he has being working with some of India's prime agencies such as Lowe Lintas, Creative Workshop, Raka, etc and has freelanced on several projects outsourced by other agencies as well. His list of clients include Jet Airways, HCC, Dukes, Herbetsons, Hoechst, DHL, The Leela Kempinski Group of Hotels, Onida, Mafatlal, Crompton Greaves, Adonis Pharmaceuticals, Sisco Research Laboratories, etc.
With a strong background of advertising in his family, Yohan grew up on a healthy creative dose of visual communication. A dropout by choice, Yohan thought mainstream education wasn't for him so he quit pursuing degrees and instead jumped neck-deep into advertising and VFX at the age of 18.
Yohan has worked on advertising artwork from a very young age, developing communication concepts and designing creative illustrations not only for his family advertising business, but also for renowned agencies and brands as well. Some of Yohan's work, such as the acclaimed 'Mumbai Series,' which comprised visual puns on some of Mumbai's landmarks, has been featured on national and international websites and publications. He is also the designer of the iconic 'Rum Dev' tee. His portfolio features work done in various streams of advertising and graphic design such as UI/UX Design, mobile game design, communication design, conceptualization and ideation and merchandise design to name a few.
He began his Visual Effects career in 2007 at EyeQube studios where he worked on some of the most technically and creatively challenging shots as a digital compositor for movies like Tron Legacy, Don’t Touch Me, an animated short which was nominated in the Festival de Cannes 2010, Moby Dick, Aladin, Drona, Veer, Madharaspattinam and various other television series and advertisements for both Indian and international clients.
